Associate Director Office of Health Promotion
The Office of Health Promotion (OHP) at the University of Virginia is seeking a dynamic Associate Director to promote wellbeing through leadership of the University's efforts to proactively and holistically address the complexity of student substance use. Reporting to the Director of the Office of Health Promotion (OHP), this position provides senior leadership and management for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating substance use policies, programs, and services designed to facilitate student learning outcomes and improve wellbeing and health behaviors and status, prevent or mitigate risks, and promote wellbeing of our University community. The successful candidate will be adept at addressing the issues from the full spectrum of individual to community health, prevention to recovery, treatment teams, compliance, threat assessment, law and policy, and research. While students are the primary focus of the endeavors of this position, supporting the wellbeing and health of students necessitates considering and supporting the welfare of staff and faculty.
